Written by Peter Allen on . Posted in Cookware

So, what is all this fuss about the T-fal stainless steel cookware set? What sets this apart from other steel pans or cookware? This cookware set has all the basic pans and pots needed to complete your kitchen cooking materials.

Before, I would have to settle with using the same pan over and over again because I only had one back in college. This would especially become a hassle if I need to cook several sauces and dishes for one meal.

✔️ T-fal Elegance Cookware Set

We will now start with our main event – the t-fal 10-piece stainless steel cookware set! First off, you will notice how stylish this cookware set is. All the parts of this set are made of stainless steel, even the spoon and slotted turner included in the set.

This makes the set look classy and tasteful. It reminds me of the branded and professional cookware (pots and pans) that my mother uses to cook. Even the bottom parts of the pans and the handles are made of stainless steel. Everything is silver so this set would really look put together in your kitchen.

Features and specifications

This T-fal stainless steel gourmet set cookware features two sauté pans, two sauce pans of different sizes, a Dutch oven, and even a stainless-steel spoon and a slotted turner. With the price, you will get all of these pans, making it worth your money.

The sauté pans measure 8 inches and 10 ¼ inches each. The sauce pans measure 1 quart and 2 quarts. The Dutch oven, the largest of the set, measures 5 quarts. The whole set measures 16.3 pounds.

T-fal boasts of a stainless-steel construction of the pans with bases that are encapsulated aluminum, so this makes heating even. The making of the pans are up to North American standards for electricity, so you can be sure this is of good quality.

The handles of the T-fal stainless steel pans are stainless steel and are riveted and curved. The handles are designed to be ergonomic and are said to remain cool even when cooking. The lids are made of glass and I have noticed that they really snugly fit the pans. The lids also help trap moisture, nutrients, and most importantly, the heat inside the pans.

When I used these pans, I liked that my food dishes were evenly cooked with no burned pieces or uncooked parts. If I preheat the pans, I have no worries about the food sticking as long as I preheat them enough. I also liked that afterwards, the pans were easy to clean through hand washing. I have not noticed any stains left on the pans. Of course, I do wash my pans every after I use them, so I think that is a good suggestion to do.

Because the handles are also stainless steel, I was worried that they would get hot after a while during cooking. However, I have noticed that they remain cool, as long as I don’t put them under direct heat or flames. With preheating and cooking the food using the T-fal stainless steel gourmet cookware, several users have advised to preheat and cook using heat that is not higher than medium heat.

The food takes several more minutes to cook, but true enough, the food did not stick. When I used the glass lids, I also noticed that the food became more flavorful, especially when it came to vegetables. The glass lids really do trap the nutrients and make the food tastier.

Pros and cons of the T-Fal Stainless-steel Cookware

  • Heavy duty
  • Made of high-quality stainless steel (18/10) and with bases that are encapsulated aluminum
  • Scratch resistant, according to some users, even when they accidentally used some metal utensils to scrape the food
  • Glass lids to help trap the nutrients in
  • The handles are stainless steel but stay cool to touch

  • The whole set comes heavy, weighing 16.3 pounds
  • One user said that the pan bends with some pressure, but this was refuted by many other users
  • It is not specified if it can be used with any stove top, like induction cooker, electric stove, or glass
  • It is also not specified if it can be used inside the oven
  • It does not state if it is safe to put in the dishwasher – hence, I always wash the pans by hand
