First, tenderize a piece of steak to break the fibre. Then, fry two or three finely minced onions in butter until lightly browned. Spread your onions over the tenderized meat and fold the ends together. Tenderize the meat and onions together to keep the onions in the middle. Grill for about three minutes, then spread with butter, salt, and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1½ pound of ground turkey/frozen turkey patties
  • ¼ cup of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat
  2. Beat your egg slightly in a large bowl, then add all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. You can do this with your hand.
  3. Split the mixture into 4 equal sizes and form into patties. If you are not going to cook immediately, you can put the patties into the refrigerator. This will also help the ingredients blend in properly. So if you are not in a hurry, you can refrigerate it for about 30 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the burger.
  5. Spray your grill with a little olive oil and allow it to cook for about 5-6 minutes.
  6. During the last minutes, add your cheese, cover and grill for a minute.
  7. Assemble your burger and it is ready

Spinach Turkey Burgers

The spinach turkey burger is quite easy just like your normal burger and can be prepared in about 30 minutes.

The ingredients are the same. All you need is a pack of frozen spinach. The next thing to do is defrost your spinach and drain. Mix thoroughly all the ingredients like you would for your normal burger and cook thoroughly over medium heat.

To season with herbs, simply add your herbs to the mayonnaise, and then spread on the bread or bun.

For your herbs you can try the basil, lemon thyme, oregano, or the rosemary.
