Hello friends, and welcome to my review of Cerapan. It’s been a long road here, but you’ve finally made it.

My Cerapan reviews are designed to help you look for some good pots and pans to make your kitchen look and feel great.

A little background about me is that I just got my own apartment with my girlfriend, so I am learning how to be a better cook for myself and for her, too. Plus, I like to take nutrition seriously, so having the right tools for the job is important. Check out my Cerapan reviews and try not to buy all three!

What Makes Cerapan Cookware Great?

What really makes this company great is that, in my search for Internet reviews to see what others were saying, I found that home cooks, amateurs and chefs all liked Cerapan cookware. The reason for this is that they are very easy to clean up, and their non-stick coating is the best on the market.

It’s also healthier for you. Many pans are made nowadays without harmful chemicals like PTFE, so you can replace some of the older ones and get these new ones with no fear that you’re doing harm to your family.

Add in the fact that you do not have to use a lot of oil to get your meals made and you have yourself a less caloric dish, plus a little oil saved for later when you need it most. And did I add that cooking eggs on them is a breeze? They just do not stick! Enjoy your eggs with some hot sauce and an easy cleanup when all is said and done.

Ceramic cookware like that of Cerapan is lighter in weight and heats up faster. The ceramic coated cookware is not to be used with metal utensils; you do not want to lose your non-stick surface by scraping it with a spatula.

Doing this could unleash the aluminum under it, but not to worry, as aluminum is anodized, and therefore safe. It’s good to own these lightweight aluminum ceramic-coated pans because they heat up faster, nothing sticks, and they are a breeze to clean up afterward.

Another thing we noticed is that Cerapan merchandise is pretty affordable. I was pleased with the price on my cookware sets and find that they are serving me well for what I paid. It may be a little more than what you are used to, but remember that buying a good quality item now will save you money in the long run.

Also, these pots and pans are oven friendly, too. Sometimes we just have to keep food in the oven so it stays warm. This stuff goes right in there up to 350 degrees F, so don’t give it a second thought!

* CeraPan Marble Hill Aluminum Non-Stick Cookware Set

These Cerapan pots are a ten-piece set that you just have to have in your kitchen.

What you get is pretty great, including 8 inch and 9.5-inch frying pans, a Dutch oven with a lid with a 5-quart capacity, and 1.3QT/1.8Qt/2.3QT sauce pans with lid included in the set. This is a great way to make your house look classy and like you are a good cook, even if you are not. I am still learning myself.

The gunmetal finish looks good in just about any kitchen. As a guy, I find these to be more appealing than say, my grandma’s baby blue cookware.

This looks like it was carved right out of stone, which I think looks very nice and tough. Each and every pattern that you get on this cookware set is unique, I found out, as the design mimics the differences in stone that naturally occur. Even though I think this looks tough, it would look nice in a luxury kitchen too where everything is kind of high-end.

I found this set to be very helpful when using it for some bacon and eggs. I decided to start with a simple test dish because I wanted to see how it performed. I used a little oil for my bacon, and a little spray for the eggs. In just a little time, I had nice, crispy strips of bacon that did not stick and eggs that were over easy — just how we like them.

I was very pleased with this and waited for the pan to cool off before hand washing them. I did not expect the leftover parts of the eggs to just fall right off like butter. They were so easy to clean with just a sponge and some hot soapy water.

The cooking was effortless.

For the heck of it, I did not use spray the next time I cooked up some eggs. Guess what. Those eggs just came right off like it was nothing. I could not believe how easy it was to just flip them up off the surface of the pot.

Turns out, this cookware is infused with Stonecat ceramic interior, and this uses technology infused with diamonds. You heard me right: the hardest substance in the world. This is the best of the best.

Safety should not be a concern here. This set is non-toxic and is not made with PFOA or PTFE. If you have old cookware and just aren’t happy with it anymore, just toss it out and bring in the new stuff.

Speaking of safety, the handles are great on these guys, too. They are heat resistant and comfortable to hold. The lids have tempered glass, stay on the pots very well, and look really good above all else!

Some pots and pans cannot be used on induction stoves, but you can definitely use these on them, along with electric, halogen or gas stoves.

These things definitely improve the overall experience of cooking as far as I am concerned. You can even take the handles off if you feel the need to clean them or just want them gone — simply grab your screwdriver and away you go.

Pros:

  • Looks really good and tough
  • Removable handles
  • Can be used on all stovetops

Cons:

  • Only one color available
  • Hard to find on some popular retail sites
  • Some users report rust collecting in handles

* CeraPan Metallic 12 Piece Aluminum Cookware Set

Really nice Cerapan ceramic pot and pan set we have here, ladies and gentlemen. I was impressed when I first took it out of the box. It came in a nice red color, which I thought made my house look pretty nice.

Upon reading the instruction manual, I discovered that these pots and pans are made in a healthy way; that is, they are made with non-stick coating and without PFOA and PTFE.

I will say this: if your family has a bird in it, do not buy any pans if they have Teflon coating. Get rid of them if you have birds. Some users argued that Teflon should only be used on pots and pans on medium-low heat.

This is because it emits a toxic fume when you are cooking on it. This is harmful to birds, but harmful to humans over the years as we are not as small and delicate as birds are.

The exterior is 2.2 mm aluminum and has a metallic finish exterior. I really like how easy it is to just take a cloth once it is all done and simply wipe it down right after I am done using it. The handle, says the manual, is heat resistant up to 350 degrees, and it is safe in the oven up to 350 degrees.

You get three covered saucepans with this, and also three small skillets. It’s just great for somebody who is starting out. I know that once my girlfriend moved in with me, I had to do better than Hot Pockets and cereal every night for dinner, so this was a nice way to get us up and running.

For our first meal testing these out, we made some macaroni and cheese. We grated the cheese and set it aside and boiled up the noodles on high heat in the large saucepan.

A nice and easy experience.

The pan did not warp or do anything crazy after we used on such a high setting, so this tells me you can go hard on it and it should be okay. Indeed, the pans heated up pretty fast — something I did not expect from a ceramic pot, but I was really pleased with the results.

The noodles came out just fine, we then added our grated cheese and stirred, and before we knew it, we had cheesy noodles that tasted like heaven. A little black pepper and they were just grand as far as I was concerned. Another great thing about these is that the handle stays cool up to 350 degrees.

It made for a nice and safe cooking experience. I liked that the interior of the pot was white. This made it very easy for me to see where all the stains were so I could clean everything up easily, instead of letting food sit on there which I have done with pans that have darker colored interiors.

I will say this: the high heat didn’t fare so well on the smaller pan. I had to use a little bleach to get rid of the discoloration. They are fine for me and my girlfriend, but I do think bigger families will need something more.

My bottom line here? These were pretty darn great, albeit a little small.

Pros:

  • Nice red color
  • Can withstand high heat
  • White nonstick surface

Cons:

  • A bit on the small side
  • Only available in one color
  • Can be hard to find on popular retail sites

* CeraPan Perfect Grip 9.5-Inch Aluminum Pan

This is a titanium-infused pan made of ceramic that I once saw on television. Yes, I admit I almost got taken by one of those crazy As Seen on TV Products, and I kind of wish I’d done it! This Cerapan non-stick cookware is nothing short of a dream.

Upon first taking it out of the box, I was pleased to see it was that same snappy red color that I had seen on the TV ads. I think it is unique and cool for a pan! There is also a 30-day money back guarantee, and the popular retail site we got ours from is also good with returns. But don’t worry, you will want to keep this thing.

If you’ve never seen the TV ad for this thing, it’s worth a watch. It has the typical customers who cannot seem to operate regular cast-iron skillets as they try to make their food. But here comes this amazing CeraPan-titanium infused, complete with a nonstick surface as well as a silicone, patented handle.

The pan’s nonstick surface does indeed do pretty well, but not like the TV commercials would have you believe. This thing makes it look like food just slides right off. And while it does, it’s not perfect. I still do find that I use butter and oil to make sure my food stays off the pan.

I really love the ergonomic handle, however. Very easy to hold onto while moving the skillet around the kitchen.

The ad on TV shows a man using a whisk to make scrambled eggs right in the pan. I am not sure I would do such a thing, as my rule was never use metal utensils on non-stick cookware. I know in the course of testing ours out, we just used silicone tools to cook up all our food.

My test meal in this was a simple one: a few chicken breasts for my girlfriend and I along with some onions for flavor. Everything went very nicely in the pan and it did not stick, as I went ahead and used a little oil to keep everything from sticking.

We are just the two of us now, so this pan is fine for two average sized chicken breasts and a few veggies. For a bigger family, I might opt for something a tad larger. It did a great job cooking, though.

I really like the handle on this; I sort of touched on that earlier. The base is wide, and you can use your thumb while you hold onto the pan. This is a small feature but provides a really big value-add. You can just hold onto this thing even when it is hot, and you don’t even have to risk burning your hand!

I also found it handy that they included a tempered glass top with this pan. It has a steam valve for safety, and a silicone seal. You don’t even need a potholder or oven mitt thanks to the silicone handle on this cookware. You cannot close the steam valve, so this may be something to consider when you purchase.

Some users report that the bottom of their pan scratched up the glass top of the stove, but my testing was done on a gas stove, so I cannot vouch for this. The bottom of the pan is made of aluminum with an outer ring, so that could very well be why these scratches happened, but I cannot confirm it. Please do use caution if you have glass stove and are worried about scratches.

My bottom line? This is a great pan. Just go into it with the right expectations. Do not expect a miracle but look forward to the ease of use with the gripper handle. I think more companies absolutely should do this!

Pros:

  • That silicone handle
  • Nonstick surface
  • Can get it in black or red

Cons:

  • TV commercial is misleading
  • No way to close steam valve
  • I do not believe you can use metal on this as the ad implies

Cerapan Marble and Perfect Grip – Why Use Them?

I have to say, I think Cerapan’s Marble line of cookware is the absolute best. Why, you might ask? Well, it has all the great features you expect to see in a good pot and pan set. The cooking surface is all natural and looks really cool, and the marble exterior is stain-resistant and lends a classy touch to your kitchen.

Even if you’re not so big on cooking, this set is very easy to make use of and is a breeze to clean up. I think it is the best because it can withstand errors commonly made by new cooks like me. Everybody knows I’ve burned stuff more than once, but this cookware set manages to bounce back like a dream.

You might also be worried about the use of Teflon or other chemicals in the pans you are using to cook your food. Nobody wants chemicals, just the tasty spices of the food you’re eating. Thankfully, with this Marble cookware set, you don’t have to worry about that. This set was made completely free of Teflon, so if that is a concern of yours, grab this one.

This one is really the king of the hill because it just looks so good, and it comes from a manufacturer that can really take the heat, literally. You can sauté, boil, fry or simmer with no worries about what’s going to happen to your pot or even your stove. This one is a no-brainer in my opinion, and I definitely love my set.

For Cerapan Perfect Grip, well, why not? I found mine to be really awesome when I used it. I admit, it is easy to get swept away by television commercials that promise perfection for very little effort. That being said, I took it with a grain of salt, because those “As Seen on TV” commercials can be deceiving at times.

I went into it expecting a pretty good quality pan, but I did not expect to get out of using cooking oil or at least a little butter to avoid getting it not to stick. It works really well as long as you take good care of it and treat it right. I only hand wash mine, and I do not use it so often — only once a week perhaps. There are probably people out there who use it more than that.

I’d get one for the ease of use.

I really loved the rubber handle that came with the pot, and I wish more companies would do the same thing. I consider myself a pretty strong guy and I hit the gym at least four times a week, but the pan was easy to carry.

I think anybody would be safe using it, even kids or the elderly who typically cannot lift a lot. Some of those cast iron skillets are awkward to hold, but this one was pretty nice to hold onto.

And, heck, buy it because of its technology. The television commercial, as hyped as it may be, shows engineers putting together the non-stick coating that makes it so great. And aside from its functionality and form, this thing looks pretty darn cool and adds a zip of color to a place that might otherwise be a little boring.

Conclusion

There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself to a new pot and pan set. After all, a good quality set like the ones we have outlined in this Cerapan Reviews (or the single CeraPan Perfect Grip) is a nice addition to your home and is going to save you time and money in the long run.

After all, you can avoid using as much butter and oil to make your food as you are used to. And with the right care, these things can last you a long time. I, for one, hope to keep mine for a good long while and make plenty of good dishes.

I’ve had a Cerapan skillet for many years (can’t remember where I bought it, but I love it) and I’ve always used metal on it. As good as new! My favorite pan!!
